- Columbus, ca. 1974. Illges House was built ca. 1850 by James A. Chapman. Located at 1428 Second Ave. This Roman Revival home has a stuccoed facade and has six large Corinthian columns. The Italianate embellishments were added after 1877. The house was given to the Historic Columbus Foundation.
