- Fort Benning, 1944. This train was one of 16 used to transport soldiers and construction materials around the post from 1920 to 1946. It had a very narrow gauge (this refers to the width of the track). One of its nicknames was Chattachoochee [i.e. Chattahoochee] Choo Choo. In 1963, it was brought to the National for additional data.
2003/07/07: The Chattahoochee Choo Choo is now part of the National Infantry Museum at Fort Benning. - External Identifiers:
