- Description:
- Warm Springs, September 8, 1894. A stagecoach filled with people seen in front of the Meriwether Inn. The stagecoach was known as the "Tally-Ho" and was used to transport patrons of the inn to and from the railroad station. Meriwether Inn was built ca. 1870 on the site of another hotel that had burned. It closed ca. 1920s due to the decline in the number of visitors wishing to take advantage of the warm springs in the area.
