- Thomson, 1930s. Interior of the First National Bank located on Main Street. The bank was organized in 1902 as Farmers and Merchants Bank. It became a national bank and its name changed ca. 1907. Note the spittoons. Left to right: Lloyd Beard, assistant cashier; Mrs. Davey Huggins; G. White Jordan, cashier.
