- Thomson, March 1957. Group gathers for a photograph at the unveiling of a portrait of Judge Clinton Joseph Perryman held at the McDuffie County Courthouse. Perryman was born September 6, 1882. He served as Judge and later Judge Emeritus of the Toombs Judicial Circuit from 1925-1957. He died August 28, 1966. Judge Perryman is seated. Standing, left to right: James Cecil Davis, Solicitor-General, Toombs Judicial Circuit; Lynn J. Norris, McDuffie County Sheriff; Allen Pannell, Clerk; Earle Norman, Judge, Toombs Judicial Circuit; John F. Watson, Ordinary; W. Arnold Ansley, Chairman, McDuffie County Commission.
