- Thomson, ca. 1947. The Knox brothers in their office at the Knox Brothers Lumber Company located on Railroad Street. The firm was established in 1932 by Wyck A. and Peter S. Knox Junior. It was one of the first in the area to build prefabricated homes. An assembly line process was used to manufacture the pieces of the home. The company was later purchased by National Homes. Left to right: Lawrence, Robert E., Wyck A., Peter S. Junior Knox, ?.
