- Thomson, ca. 1941. Knox Hotel located at the corner of Main and Journal Streets. The hotel was built ca. 1850 by Joseph Henry Stockton and was known at that time as the Greenway Hotel. Over the years it has had several owners. Charles Edward Knox began operating it in 1882. At the time of this photograph Mrs. Kate Pace, the daughter of Mr. Knox, operated the hotel.
