- Atlanta (Fulton County), ca. 1940. Hamilton McWhorter (left) and Randall Evans, Junior (right) seen in the Paradise Room of the Henry Grady Hotel located at the corner of Cain and Peachtree Streets. Mr. McWhorter (1878-1963) was from Lexington in Oglethorpe County. He had served in the Georgia House of Representatives and was a past President of the Georgia Senate. Mr. Evans, born in 1906, was from Thomson in McDuffie County. He had served in the Georgia Senate and was a past Speaker of the House of Representatives. From 1969-1976 he served as a judge on the Court of Appeals of Georgia.
