- Wrightsville, ca. 1915. Intersection of Elm and Marcus Streets before the streets were paved. The Exchange Bank of Wrightsville, which was established circa 1909, is in the lower left corner of the photograph. Signs advertise the wares sold at firms owned by T.H. Jackson and H.C. Tompkins. The Brinson Drug Company is seen in the lower right of the photograph. It was founded in 1887 by Dr. J.W. Brinson, Senior. In 1900 he built the Brinson Building on Marcus Street to house his business.
