- Johnson County, 1934. Henry G. Wheeler was born in Kite, Georgia March 16, 1844. During the Civil War he served in Company F, 48th Regiment Georgia Volunteer Infantry. It is believed that he was the last surviving Confederate veteran in Johnson County. He died February 26, 1935.
