- Wrightsville, Dec. 1977. Wesley Stephens stands atop a bulldozer bearing a sign which reads, "100% Parity or Welfare. Merry Christmas." Mr. Stephens, a farmer, was joining others in supporting the farmers' strike. The bulldozer was located on Bradford Street.
