- Jefferson County, ca. 1880s. Home of the Averett family which was located four miles east of Wrens. Members of the family are seen in front. The young boy at the far right is standing beside his pet goat. One of the sons may be Edward Tarver Averett. The black man and boy probably worked for the Averett family.
