- Jekyll Island, 1928. Shrady-James Cottage has 20 rooms plus eight bathrooms. Built circa 1904 for Mrs. Hester E. Cantin Shrady, widow of Doctor Frederick Shrady of New York. Cottage last occupied by Doctor Walter Belknap James of New York. He was president of Jekyll Island Club 1919-1927. Cottage was also known as Cherokee Cottage and was located on Old Plantation Road.
