- Hart County, 1947-1948. Boys with the first shipment of registered Jersey calves from Canada sent to start the 4-H Dairy Calf Club in the county. The group is assembled at Georgia Better Farm #2, about ten miles south of Hartwell. Louis Morris can be seen second from the left behind a calf. He was the editor of The Hartwell Sun, owner of the WKLY radio station, owner of the Hartwell Railroad and instrumental in completion of the Hartwell Dam.
