- Hartwell, March 28-29, 1939. Front of a warehouse on Depot Street. Lee Herndon, of Canon, Georgia, can be seen loading fertilizer to carry to his three-horse farm. He would mix the fertilizer in the warehouse of T. B. Thorton before using.
