- Harris County, April 25, 1912. Construction of Goat Rock Dam located about 17 miles north of Columbus. Seen is east end of powerhouse and the completed part of the spillway from the west side of the tail race. This dam on the Chattahoochee River is operated by the Georgia Power Company.
