- Henry County, ca. late 1960s. Kitchen cuties performing in a band to raise money for Camp Fortson, a county 4-H camp. Instruments included are a tambourine, a milk can, a washboard. This was a Home Demonstration Project of the Cooperative Extension Service.
2003/06/06: Camp Fortson was founded by Regena and Robert Whitaker who are still involved in the camp, even in their 80s. Today, Children from all over Georgia spend their summers at the 4-H camp. - External Identifiers:
