Landrum, U.S. Congressman from Georgia's 9th Congressional district, was on hand for the opening of the facility in Dec. 1957. The home of the Roper family is at the far right. The Coca-Cola Bottling Company is to the immediate left. The First United Methodist Church is seen at the far left.
