- Description:
- Gainesville, 1944. Gainesville High School located on West Washington Street. The structure was built in 1919-1920. It was later used as a junior high school. In 1974 part of the complex was torn down to make way for a parking lot. The gymnasium remains and is used as a theatre and for concerts.
