- Gainesville, June 11, 1931. Members of the National Editorial Association which was meeting in Gainesville gather in front of the Dixie Hunt Hotel located at the corner of South Main and West Spring Streets. This group was composed of editors and publishers of small town newspapers. Today it is known as the National Newspaper Association. Albert S. Hardy, Sr., editor of the The Gainesville News, is seated second from the right on the front row. His wife and his two sons, Charles and Albert S., Jr., are noted on the contact print.
