- Description:
- Scull Shoals, ca. 1870s - 1880s. Man sitting in a horse and buggy and group of blacks shown in front of a warehouse. In 1810 Zachariah Sims established a paper mill here on the Oconee River. It was later converted into a ginnery and still later a cotton mill was operated. This may be a warehouse connected with the cotton mill.
