- Greensboro, ca. 1870s. Davis and Kimbrough Store located on northwest corner of Main and Broad Streets. Signs in the windows indicate hardware, groceries, boots, shoes, and general merchandise could be purchased there. Note plow at right. The building still stands and is currently occupied by Hunter's Drugstore.
