- Cairo, Nov. 11, 1918. Citizens gather downtown to celebrate the first Armistice Day. Future Governor of Georgia, Eurith D. Rivers, is standing at right wearing a derby hat and frockcoat. He is preparing to preach at a mock funeral held for Kaiser Wilhelm, II, who had just been burned in effigy. (see gra023) Standing at Rivers's right is T. Aden Powell.
