- Description:
- Cairo, ca. 1910. North Broad Street looking north where Third Avenue would later intersect. Toward the northwest, at left, is the old Bell House, a famous boarding house of the 1920s and 1930s. Just north of it is the old Ed L. Vanlandingham home, later an apartment building. At far right, just north of the old F. A. Richter home, would be the site of the Roddenbery Memorial Library. The Richter home still stands.
