- Cairo, 1910-1920. View of the Cannon home located at the intersection of Fourth Avenue, Southeast and First Street, Southeast. Reportedly one of Cairo's prettiest homes in the early 1900s, it was built by Mr. and Mrs. Hugh G. Cannon. The Cairo Presbyterian Church is on the other side of First Avenue, Southeast from the Cannon home. In 1979, this home had become an apartment building.
