- Santa Fe, New Mexico, ca. 1880. Robert Neal King (1837-1902) was born in Floyd County, Ga. During the Civil War he served Co. C, 23d Regiment Georgia Volunteer Infantry and later in Co. B, 9th Regiment Georgia Volunteer Infantry. After the war he went west and became a miner and a prospector. After about 20 years he returned to Georgia and married Arabelle A. Marsh in 1888.
