- Calhoun, ca. 1961-1962. Crowd turns out to look at "The General." This was one of two locomotives involved in Andrews Raid in the Civil War. Gov. Ernest Vandiver accompanied the locomotive on its visit to Calhoun. Jack Barrett, a resident of Gordon County, manned the throttle.
