- Calhoun, 1915. Members of the John William Logan family pose for a photograph. They may be in front of the Logan Hotel built in 1890 and called the Calhoun Hotel earlier. Mr. Logan operated the hotel. Left to right: John, Annie Mae, Will Nell, Mr. and Mrs. Logan, and black employees Minnie Shropshire and Jake. Note the pony cart in which John Logan is standing.
