- Sugar Valley, 1934.J. Marvin Muse poses for a photograph with three of his bird dogs. Mr. Muse was a pioneer in the Gordon County textile industry, especially in the area of tufted bedspreads. As the dogs would indicate, he was also a great sportsman.
