- Willowdale (Whitfield County), June 12, 1912. People view damage caused by derailment of Engine No. 179 of the Western & Railroad and passenger cars it was pulling. An engineer and a fireman died when Engine No. 179 wrecked, as seen in this photograph. Many of the passengers lived in Calhoun, Ga. and were on their way to a picnic.
