- Calhoun, 1886. Students and teachers pose for a photograph in front of the private school operated by Mrs. M. E. Fields which was located on North Wall Street. The school was also known as North Georgia Seminary. Note the young man sitting in a wheelchair. In the foreground Mrs. M. E. Fields in sitting at the right and Laura Reeve at the left. This site is now occupied by Thomas Funeral Home.
