- Calhoun, 1889. Interior of the Gordon County Courthouse that was completed in 1889. This is said to have been taken during the first session of the court held in the new courthouse.
2003/06/18: According to Gordon County Courthouse, located online at http://www.cviog.uga.edu/Projects/gainfo/courthouses/gordonCH.htm, this courthouse was built in 1889 after Gordon County's first courthouse, completed in 1852, was destroyed by a storm in 1888.
