- Atlanta, May 26, 1894. The Joyner boys in front of fire department headquarters. They were the sons of Walthal Robertson Joyner who was chief of the Atlanta Fire Department from 1885-1906. L-R: Ralph, Harry and W. R. "Cap" Jr. Ralph and Harry later were members of the department while "Cap" Jr. was later deputy city marshal.
