2003/07/01: John Henry Holliday (Doc Holliday) was born on August 15, 1841. After attending Dentistry school, he contracted tuberculosis. This illness caused him to move to Texas. After his practice failed, he became a gambler by trade. He died November 8, 1887. - External Identifiers:
