- Roswell, ca. 1910. Elizabeth A. Smith was born in Saint Marys, Georgia in 1831 and died in Roswell in 1915. At the age of sixteen she made the fringe on the linen communion cloth that was used in the Presbyterian Church located on Mimosa Boulevard.
