- Atlanta, 1916. Graduating classes of nurses at Wesley Memorial Hospital located on Courtland Street. The hospital opened in 1905 and by 1908 the nurses' home was established. In the early 1920s a new hospital plant on the campus of Emory University was built. The hospital later was called Emory University Hospital.
