- Atlanta, after 1900. Home of Rufus M. Rose was built in 1900. He was owner of R. M. Rose Co., a wholesale liquor company.
2003/06/17: Rufus M. Rose moved to Atlanta in 1867 and was founder of the Four Rose Distillery. His house was built by Emil Charles Seiz in 1901. The townhouse is one of 4 remaining Victorian house on Peachtree street. This house, located at 537 Peachtree Street, N.E., has been a residence, an office, a boarding house, and is currently the location of the Atlanta Museum. - External Identifiers:
