2003/06/11: The Atlanta Medical College was established in 1854. The College combined with Southern Medical College in 1898 to form the Atlanta College of Physicians and Surgeons. After merging with Atlanta School of Medicine in 1913, the school was renamed Atlanta Medical College. In 1915, it became Emory University School of Medicine - External Identifiers:
