- Royston, Summer 1950. Three of those gathered for the dedication of the Cobb Memorial Hospital. Left to right: Dr. Stuart Brown, Gus Skelton (childhood friend of Ty Cobb and instrumental in construction of the building) and Ty Cobb (outfielder for the Detroit Tigers). The hospital was named for Mr. Cobb's mother.
