- Carnesville, ca. 1910. Employees in front of a general merchandise store owned by J. R. Dortch located on the courthouse square. The sign in front of the employees reads, "These are the pickpockets that work for J. R. Dortch." The store opened circa 1900. Later the site was occupied by H. N. Little's Dry Goods.
