- Description:
- near Bainbridge, ca. 1921-1925. Townspeople view wrecked engine and freight cars following a wreck of the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad. The wreck was reportedly caused by a collision between a passenger train and a freight train. Note the freight cars behind the crowd appear to belong to the L & N Line. The freight train was said to have been carrying a large number of horses. The wreck took place a few miles east of Bainbridge.
