- Description:
- Grady County, ca. 1914. Group poses in front of the falls at Lime Sink following a picnic. Lime Sink was a scenic spot for picnicking where the water dropped over a fall into a lime sink with very white sand. This area was in the northeast part of Decatur County until Grady County was created in December of 1905, at which time it became a part of Grady County. Left to right: Mr. Oliver Fleming of Bainbridge, Miss Lillian Sturdevant of Atlanta, Mrs. Louise Lewis Bower. Child in front: Louise Bower.
