- Bainbridge, ca. 1900. Byron B. Bower was Superior Court Judge of the Albany Circuit of Southwest Georgia and one of the promoters of the railroad in Bainbridge. He was originally from Newton, Ga. where his family owned a 1,000 acre farm on the Ichawaynochaway River. He died in 1923.
