- near Climax, Feb. 14, 1976. View of the farmhouse at Curry Hill Plantation looking up the driveway toward the south following a snowstorm during the winter of 1976. The plantation is located six miles east of Bainbridge and two miles west of Climax. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973, because it typified a historical South Georgia farm. The farmhouse was begun in 1842 and was built by slaves.
2003/01/21: The historical marker is located about 6 miles east of Bainbridge on U.S. Highway 84. - External Identifiers:
