- near Climax, late 1940s. View of Curry Hill Plantation as seen from inside the mule barn looking toward the southeast. The farmhouse, begun in 1842, was built by slaves. The plantation is located six miles east of Bainbridge and two miles west of Climax. It was listed on the National Resgister of Historic Places in 1973 because it typified a historical South Georgia farm.
2003/01/21: The historical marker is located about 6 miles east of Bainbridge on U.S. Highway 84. - External Identifiers:
