- Decatur County, 1905. Georgia, Florida and Alabama Railroad trestle crosses the Flint River. A cotton warehouse and cotton dock can be seen at left. Later this area would become Cheney Griffin Park. The Georgia, Florida and Alabama Railroad ran from Carrabelle, Fla. to Richland, Ga. and eventually became part of the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad.
