- Description:
- Bainbridge, early 1900s. Decatur County's third courthouse, located in the center of the square, seen from the corner of Broad and Water Streets. It was a two story brick building and served as the Decatur County Courthouse from 1855-1904. The two previous courthouses were wooden structures. After this structure was destroyed, the site it occupied was sold to the city and became Willis Park. Note the City Water Works at right.
