- Bainbridge, 1923. School groups pass down Broad Street as part of the Decatur County Centennial Celebration parade. First group of children marching at right front is carrying a sign which reads, "Orphan School; life hard, food scarce." They are followed by a float with a sign that reads, "Old Dame School" and another float representing the "Deestrick Skule."
