- Description:
- Iron City, (Seminole County), Mar. 4, 1921. Church members gather for a picnic. These people are reportedly members of the Corinth Baptist Church. The man at rear, just right of center holding a baby, is John E. Drake, Sr., who eventually became a circuit judge from Bainbridge and was politically active in Georgia. This area was a part of Decatur County but became part of Seminole County when that county was created on July 8, 1920.
