- Iron City, 1906. Mr and Mrs. Green Benjamin Alday pose for a photograph in front of their home, located inside the city limits of Iron City. This area would later become part of Seminole County when Seminole County was created on July 8, 1920. Standing on the steps, left to right: Merle Adams; her mother, Mrs. Green Byron Alday (Henrietta Elizabeth Culloch Adams); Mr. Green Byron Alday. Note the photographs on the left and right sides of the steps. At left is Mr. Alday's first wife, Georgia Ann Johnson, whom he married January 4, 1866. He married Mrs. Adams in 1906. At right is Mrs. Alday's first husband, John T. Adams, whom she married in 1895. Also, note the pig pen at left.
